After years of campaigning by local Parish Councils and myself the County Council has agreed to find the money to fix the problem of flooding on the West Stafford by-pass.

A project is currently underway to find the most cost effective solution and we’ve been promised that this solution will be in place this year!

It is clear the existing drainage is no longer working and there is a clear need to find a different solution.  This is great news for local residents that a team has been appointed to work on options to stop future flooding.  I particularly welcome the commitment to solve this problem before next winter.
